Spanish soprano Auxiliadora Toledano was born in Cordoba. She made her debut at the Centenario of Palau Música Catalana with Dña. Francisquita in the lead role, alongside Josep Bros in 2008, commencing her career. She has worked with conductors such as Riccardo Muti, Alberto Zedda, Jesús López Cobos, Emmanuelle Villaume, J. Ramón Encinar, Ingo Metzmacher, Daniele Rustioni, S. Rolli, Plácido Domingo, Miguel Roa, Andreas Schuller, Jaime Martín, Fura dels Baus, Carlos Kalmar, Christoph Spering, Emilio Sagi, Willy Decker, Daniel Slater, Jonathan Miller, Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos, Sir Neville Marriner, Sylvain Cambreling at the Opera Garnier Paris, Wiener Kammeroper Viena, Teatro Liceu, Teatro Real, Maggio Fiorentino, Teatro Arriaga Bilbao, Teatro de la Zarzuela Madrid, Los Angeles Opera, Auditorio Kuursaal S. Sebastián, Teatros Canal Madrid, Teatro Campoamor Oviedo, Auditorio Nacional Madrid and Auditori Barcelona, Budapest Opera, Accademia Santa Cecilia Rome, Festival Peralada among others. After being awarded in Operalia Competition she sang with Plácido Domingo at a concert in Pecs (Hungary).

She studied piano and singing, at the Conservatorio Superior de Salamanca, obtaining the Outstanding Graduation Award. She thereafter completed a postgraduate Opera degree at the ESMUC (Barcelona) and following that at the Opera Studio Accademia Santa Cecilia Roma under Renata Scotto and at the Accademia Rossiniana Pesaro with A. Zedda. She works with Teresa Berganza, who is and has been her mentor, E. Lloris and L. Serra. She has been awarded at several International Competitions, among them Francesc Viñas, 3rd prize and Premio Catania (2008 Barcelona), Concurso Internacional Julián Gayarre 2nd Prize and Best Zarzuela Singer (Pamplona 2008), Belvedere Singing Competition (Viena 2008), Operalia 3rd Prize and the special award of the City of Budapest (Budapest 2009).
She has been awarded with the prestigious Princes of Girona Awards of Arts and Letters 2013 and participated in 80th Aniversary Teresa Berganza in Teatro Real. Recently have been published two Live recordings, Orfeo et Euridice (DVD) with Fura dels Baus in Peralada Festival and Carmina Burana (CD) with Frühbeck de Burgos and ONE in Auditorio Nacional.
